  • How do I dry my ski boots?

  • Put the boots in the bag, plug the bag in the AC wall plug and turn the switch ON and on HOT. Leave overnight. If you are traveling, the next day, unplug the bag from the wall outlet, and plug the DC adaptor into the vehicle’s plug for the duration of travel.

  • Can I dry and warm my boots using only the vehicle DC adaptor?

  • Not really! Despite the fact that the DC heater is as powerful as the AC, the heat needs a minimum of four to six hours to penetrate the boots. Therefore, the best way to use the Heated Ski Gear Bag is to plug in the bag in the evening, turn the heat to DRY or HOT and leave your boots plugged in overnight. Plug the bag with the boots in the vehicle for the ride to the slopes.

  • Can I dry two pair of boots in one bag?

  • Yes, if you have the Double bag model.

  • How long will my boots stay warm in the Heated Ski Gear Bag?

  • Depending on the outside temperature, from two to four hours.

  • What is the Heated Ski Gear Bag’s Boot Fitting System?

  • The Heated Ski Gear Bag heats the boot by induction, penetrating the outer plastic shell and the rest of the insulation layer. Many ski boot companies provide retail stores with specifically designed expensive heating devises for in-store boot fitting. However, these expensive systems only dry the inside insulation layers and are not as effective as the Heated Ski Gear Bag. By warming and heating the plastic shell and the insulation layer, the boot fits to the foot by allowing all layers to mold together and the plastic to conform to the entire foot during walking and skiing. By using your Heated Ski Gear Bag, you repeat this process daily, enjoying your boots’ ultimate fit and comfort, which contributes to better control and improved skiing technique every day.

  • What else can I dry and warm in the Heated Ski Gear Bag?

  • Every model, except the Single model, has specially dedicated warm compartments marked with icons for gloves, socks, and thermal wear. There are also cold pockets for goggles and other accessories.

  • Can I carry the Heated Ski Gear Bag onboard commercial flights?
  • Ajax, Single, and Classic models are properly sized for carry-on use.

  • Can I fit my helmet in the Heated Ski Gear Bag?

  • Every Heated Ski Gear Bag, except the Single model, has a helmet carrier outside of the bag. You can fit a helmet into the Classic, Pro and Double, however, we recommend using the helmet attachment.

  • I have an older model Heated Ski Gear Bag. Can I exchange my heating element with a new one? Yes, all Heated Ski Gear Bags have the same heating elements, so they are very easy to replace.

  • Do I need to do anything special to store the bag for the summer?

  • Absolutely not, except don’t leave it plugged in! In fact, the heating element can be removed and the bag can be used as a regular bag for travel and sports.

  • How can I use a 110V bag in a 220V country?

  • Purchase a transformer for the DC adaptor, which works for both 110V and 220V. In fact, you can use the same adaptor for plugging the bag in simultaneously with the AC and have a doubly faster, powerful heating system. The other option is to purchase another 220V element and exchange it at the time of travel.

  • How many bags can I plug in one vehicle?

  • We recommend no more than two.
